Job description

UniLED are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for all Linus and network issues across the business
  • Be responsible for new technical deployments
  • Liaise and coordinate with all 3rd party IT suppliers
  • Liaise with the business with regards to change management RFC submission
  • Deliver some Devops requirements to Dev team
  • Be first point of contact for security breaches/alerts/monitoring for back-end infrastructure
  • Manage the technical roadmap of improvements and additional functionality in line with business requirements
  • Handover of repeating technical issues to first-line support team.
  • Conduct RCA on recurring issues

Skills & experience


  • Network Management (firewall routing and switching)
  • Good understanding of Linux operating system
  • Good understanding of Windows network environment
  • IOT
  • Working within a fast-paced SME environment
  • AWS (desirable)


  • Skilled in managing 3rd party suppliers
  • Skilled in managing IP devices across multiple locations

  • Some exposure to AWS & cloud components (desirable)
  • Intermediate understanding of firewalling, routing and switching (desirable)
