Field Technician

UniLED has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Technician to join the Field Services Department, working on our screens.

Job description

Due to the continued growth at UniLED there is a need for an experienced Field Technician.

As a Field Technician you will be responsible for attending and resolving field maintenance incidents assigned to you. These repairs will be carried out in a complaint fashion ensuring HSEQ requirements are followed; works are completed efficiently and to a high quality; internal processes are followed and you work with the scheduled rota for field maintenance.

Key responsibilities

  • Commit to building and sustaining an in-depth knowledge of:- Digital signage screen hardware technology- Digital signage screen software technology,- Communications technology,

    – Computing equipment,

    – Workflow tools including incident management software and inventory management tools,

    – Related tools

  • Utilise these skillsets to effectively carry out field investigations and resolve incidents.
  • To build strong and effective relationships with all key stakeholders to deliver first class service.
  • Carry out all works in accordance with the company HSEQ Policy.
  • Carry out planning field works including installation of equipment, landscaping, and surveys on site etc.
  • Manage and report each incident through our bespoke workflow management tool.
  • Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure all is in working order
  • Report inventory used and the status of the inventory used to the inventory team with the correct procedure and process.
  • Comply with shift patterns and rota scheme

Skills & experience

  • AV knowledge / experience preferable
  • Electrical experience preferable
  • On site experience in DOOH or other industries preferable
  • Driving Licence required
  • IT proficiency
  • Logic / problem solving skills

  • Relationship Management skills
