Field Services Department Lead

UniLED has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Services Department Lead to oversee and scale up the Field Services department. This is to ensure consistent delivery, performance and safety of our field team members.

Job description

Due to the continued growth at UniLED there is a need for a Field Services Department Lead.

As the Field Services Department Lead you will define the structure and performance of within field services. You will determine where there is a gap within the existing capability whilst filling the gap with the appropriate people, processes and systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse field operations using prior experience to identify areas for efficiency and enhancement
  • Utilise analytical findings to continuously innovate and optimise UniLED’s field operational processes
  • Undertake day-to-day management of field operations team (including maintenance, projects, inventory and logistics)
  • Build strong and effective relationships with clients to deliver first class service and meet client service expectations
  • Ensure the safety and quality of work undertaken by all field operations team members at all time
  • Drive continuous performance improvement and ongoing development of all direct reports using coaching / leadership expertise
  • Regularly report progress to senior stakeholder group

Skills & experience

  • Have experience working at senior leadership level within Manufacturing, Logistics or a Processing related industry at Field Services Manager level
  • Experience contributing to shaping and executing a strategic plan that has delivered improved operational performance and customer excellence

  • Flexible and proactive approach to meet ever changing customer demands and a strategic and pragmatic approach to decision making
  • Able to work flexible hours and to travel as required to ensure business needs are met (mainly UK)
  • Strongly IT literate with across usual Microsoft Office packages
